Quality Coaching Framework

Existing Coaches must complete the Quality Coaching Framework course by September 1, 2024.

An existing coach is defined as having completed both FOC 101 and 201, or has been previously grandfathered in which nullified this requirement.

New coaches must take the Welcome to USA Swimming and the Quality Coaching Framework courses prior to getting on deck to coach. The Core Certification, which is a series of courses, must be taken during the first year as a coach member.

Learn more about coaching requirements by viewing the coach certification flow chart here. The Rules and Regulations exam is still a one-time requirement, taken prior to the second year of registration.
